GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) in Sweden

HUSEC holds SWEDAC accrediation for Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) for field studies in Sweden. This means that we can carry out studies in which the non-clinical safety of agricultural products is tested, prior to registration and approval of the product for private or commercial use.

In GLP studies we typically assess the properties and safety of products in the context of agricultural use. For HUSEC the majority of GLP field studies we carry out include residue analysis of products in target crops over time – thus allowing us to determine if the tested material poses a threat to human health and/or the environment when applied as per the suggested treatment dose.

GLP field studies are a critical step for developing and registering new plant health products, and we are proud to hold accrediation for GLP studies in Sweden. We provide this service with high quality field trials, well-conducted, documented and reported.

Accreditation

We are accredited for GEP trials and approved to perform GLP studies within the crop protection area by Swedac, the Swedish Accreditation Authority.
